Volunteering at Frisco Family Services and Frisco Resale - UPSCALE RESALE

Volunteers are critical to the success of Frisco Family Services. The agency offers a wide variety of opportunities for people of all ages and in all areas of Frisco Family Services. We welcome individuals and groups to join us as we work together to make a genuine difference in the lives of the people we serve! Due to current COVID-19 health and safety restrictions, volunteer opportunities are limited to individuals 16 years or older at this time.



Volunteering: Things to Know

The first step in volunteering with Frisco Family Services is to contact the Volunteer Services Manager at The Volunteer Services Manager will connect with you about ways to support Frisco Family Services and discuss our process.

Adults:18 Years Old and Older

You must pass a criminal background check in order to volunteer with Frisco Family Services. Volunteer drivers must also pass a motor vehicle record check. (A suggested $10.00 donation to help defray the cost of the background check is requested.) We must receive a completed Background Check before you can start volunteering. Teens: 16- & 17-Year-Olds

To serve as a volunteer by yourself, you will need a signed parental consent form as well as attend a Teen Volunteer Orientation. Please contact the Volunteer Services Manager at



Previously, children ages 4-10 years old would take part in our Little Hands opportunities created just for them. Children ages 11-15 would volunteer only if a parent had completed orientation. Again, please check this page for updates and changes to our current volunteer policy.
