Today, we are proud to celebrate Amber, a dedicated Frisco Family Services Resale team member and recent scholarship recipient through the Frisco Old Town Community scholarship program, sponsored by Peak Roofing and Construction LLC.
Amber has been part of the Frisco Family Services Resale team for several years, serving customers, supporting the community, and helping further the mission of Frisco Family Services through her work. During her time at Frisco Resale, she has not only gained valuable experience, but also discovered a passion for helping others and making meaningful connections within the community.
“My work experience here has allowed me to grow so much,” Amber shared. “I am so thankful for the ways my co-workers encouraged me to better myself and become more confident.”
Amber says one of the most rewarding parts of working at Frisco Resale has been interacting with members of the community and serving others through a mission-driven organization that supports individuals and families facing difficult circumstances.
This fall, Amber will attend Texas Tech University, where she plans to pursue a career in accounting. She shared that her experiences at Frisco Family Services inspired her career path and reinforced her desire to make a positive impact in the lives of others.
“I love helping people, and I enjoy solving problems,” Amber said. “I feel this career will be a good match for me.”
When asked why she chose to work for a nonprofit organization while continuing her education, Amber shared that she wanted to be a positive light for others and work in an environment dedicated to helping the community.
At Frisco Family Services, we are incredibly proud of Amber and all she has accomplished. Her compassion, dedication, and heart for service reflect the values we strive to embody every day.
